Rover 2.0: Faster, Smarter, Better

Ever notice how James Bond gets a new spy car for every mission? It’s probably because secret agents always need the latest gadgets and modifications. After all, covert missions and international espionage aren’t so easy without the latest and greatest.

That’s what we were thinking when we added some seriously spy-tastic upgrades to our Rover app-controlled spy tank. Whether you’re gathering intel on the family pet or commanding clandestine operations in total darkness, now you can do it faster, smarter and better with Rover 2.0.

Get there faster.

Rover 2.0 is now 25% faster, which means you can get where you’re going in time to catch all the action. Once you’ve got all the video and stills from your secret mission, uploading is faster too. With Rover 2.0, you can upload all your recorded content to Facebook, Youtube and Twitter right from the free app.

See more, hear more.

Now you can remotely adjust the angle of Rover’s wide-angle camera so you can see more wherever your mission takes you (up to 200 ft unobstructed or up to 100 feet around walls and into other rooms). Too dark? No problem. Built-in, remote controlled headlights and night vision are there when you need them.

And with the addition of two-way communication, now you can listen to sound and transmit your own secret code back through Rover’s built-in speaker.

New look and Android compatible.

With a new, sleek black finish, Rover 2.0 takes the look of a spy tank to a whole new level.  And Android compatibility allows even more smartphone and tablet users to enjoy hours of super-stealthy fun with Rover. But of course, Rover 2.0 still has all the great features of the original Rover: night vision, wi-fi connection, on screen driving controls and G-Drive mode, and a range of up to 200 feet.

Eat your heart out, 007.

  1. Do you have a forum for customers? The android app works on my phone which is Android 2.2, but not on my Xoom tablet which is Android 4.1.2. On the tablet it looks like a phone app stretched to fill the screen for a couple of seconds and then it force closes. So far, not been able to do much with this (the phone screen is too small).
